Is Timba really built for Nigeria?
Yes — built from the ground up. Invoices are denominated in Naira by default. VAT is calculated at 7.5% as applicable in Nigeria. There are no dollar conversions, foreign tax codes, or payment rails that don't apply locally.
Do I need to know accounting to use Timba?
No. Timba is built for freelancers, not accountants. If you can log hours and describe what you worked on, Timba handles the rest — structuring the invoice, applying VAT, and keeping your records in order.
What if I forget to start the timer?
You can add manual time entries at any point. Open the entry form, choose the client, the project, and type in the duration. Manual entries work exactly the same as timed ones when it comes to invoicing.
Can I use Timba across different types of freelance work?
Timba is built for any freelancer billing by the hour or by project — designers, developers, writers, consultants, or any creative professional who needs to track time and get paid for it.
How does invoicing work exactly?
Once you have tracked time for a client, Timba lets you pull those entries into an invoice form. You review the line items, confirm the rate, add VAT if required, and generate a professional PDF. The invoice is yours to send however you normally send files — email, WhatsApp, or any channel you use.
What happens to my data?
Your time entries, client details, and invoices belong to you. Timba does not sell or share your data. You can export your records at any point.
